SeeNot Intent-aware screen time intervention
Android

Most of the time, you never meant to keep scrolling that long.

Those apps are designed to pull you in, keep you there, and make you forget what you came to do. SeeNot watches the screen for this session and pulls you back when you drift, instead of blocking the whole app.

01

Say the task

Use plain language, not settings menus.

02

Watch the screen

SeeNot judges the current page, not just the app name.

03

Step in on drift

Nudge you, back out, or end the detour.

These scenes all fit.

  • "Open YouTube for cooking recipes, not Shorts."
  • "No more than 10 minutes on football news."
  • "Open Airbnb to confirm check-in details, not browse other places."
  • And when you just want to relax? Tell SeeNot that too.

How it works

How SeeNot works in practice

SeeNot is built for moments when you need an app for a real task, but the current page starts pulling you somewhere else.

Is SeeNot just another app blocker?

No. Traditional blockers usually decide by app name, schedule, or total time. SeeNot starts from the task you said you came to do, then checks whether the current screen still fits that session.

How does SeeNot decide that I have drifted?

You describe the intent in plain language. When SeeNot is active for a selected app, it can use screen context and a vision-capable AI model to judge whether the page still matches that intent.

Where do screenshots and prompts go?

SeeNot is local-first. For AI analysis, the app sends the needed content directly to the model provider you configure, or to a disclosed provider used by SeeNot Plus. SeeNot does not run a hosted screen-analysis server for your screenshots.

Do I need SeeNot Plus to use the app?

No. The free version lets you connect your own AI provider and use the intervention engine. Plus is for users who want managed AI access and signed-in device continuity.

What happens when SeeNot thinks I am off task?

Depending on your setup, SeeNot can remind you, send you back, or end the detour. The point is to interrupt drift without banning the whole app.
